Biography & Career
Kibiru Muthaka has accomplished in his youth what many individuals do not manage to achieve in their entire lives. By the age of 26, he founded Alpha Review, a firm specializing in applied finance training and financial consultancy. He successfully partnered with prominent corporations such as Britam, Safaricom Sacco, the Co-operative Bank, Genghis Capital, Stanlib, African Alliance, and Old Mutual Asset Managers.
Entrepreneur and investor with a varied background in venture creation, investment, and regulatory matters across different industries and regions. As the Creator of TapSwap, I am spearheading an innovative initiative to streamline cryptocurrency exchanges, promoting accessibility, education, and inclusivity in digital asset ownership for Africa and other regions.
Having been deeply involved in the cryptocurrency field since the ICO boom of 2017, along with my achievement as a top 2% futures trader on a leading exchange (2019 – 2022) and my advocacy for Dollar-Cost Averaging (DCA), I possess firsthand knowledge and practical experience of the obstacles Africa encounters in entering the crypto market.
Simultaneously, my roles as an Angel Investor in ventures such as Love Handle SG and Gridless demonstrate my commitment to supporting creative solutions that tackle significant issues in Asia’s food industry and Africa’s energy sector. Combined with a proven history of leading teams, strategic foresight, and promoting innovation, I am well-positioned to continue making a positive impact and shaping the future of emerging markets.
